Description
The University of Oklahoma’s College of Dentistry is seeking a qualified supplier to provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) services for its Dental Assisting Certificate Program. The work is split into two optional parts: (A) accelerated online course development – a rapid 4‑6‑week sprint to design, create, and QA a fully asynchronous Canvas‑based curriculum (approximately 60‑90 total hours); and (B) delivery of the online asynchronous instruction for a 16‑week cohort (facilitation, discussion moderation, assessment grading, and learner support). The supplier must hold a current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential or equivalent state license, possess strong written communication and curriculum‑design skills, and be able to work remotely with OU Education Services (OUES) and College staff. No budget ceiling is disclosed; pricing must be submitted via the provided template. The initial contract term runs from award date through the following June 30, with up to four one‑year renewals available. Payment terms are net 45 days.
• Part A: 4‑6‑week sprint, 60‑90 hrs, deliver design outline, prototype modules, and final course package.
• Part B: Online asynchronous instruction for ~20 learners per cohort, ongoing for the 16‑week program, including facilitation and grading.
• Required qualifications: Certified Dental Assistant, curriculum‑development or online‑teaching experience, ability to meet compressed timelines, and compliance with OU’s background, HIPAA/FERPA, and cybersecurity training.
