Butte-Silver Bow 2026 Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) Project

The City-County of Butte-Silver Bow is seeking qualified contractors to submit bids for the Butte-Silver Bow 2026 Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) Project. The project involves rehabilitating approximately 9,060 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe using CIPP lining. The work includes furnishing and installing CIPP lining in compliance with the attached bid specification, reconnecting all active sewer services, and performing CCTV inspections before and after liner installation. The project is located in Butte, Montana, and the bid specification includes twenty-eight distinct pipe segments. • The project requires the contractor to verify all pipe diameters, pipe lengths, access manhole depths, and the number of active service connections prior to installation. • The contractor must provide bypass pumping for the sanitary sewer reach(s) upstream of the CIPP lining reach. • The finished liner shall be continuous for the entire length of the installation run between manholes and shall be free of visual defects. • The contractor shall remove all protruding taps identified during the pre-installation CCTV inspection or shown on the plan sheets prior to CIPP lining. • The contractor shall perform dye testing to determine whether a service is active or should be abandoned if the status of a service is questionable.
