Budget estimate

$200,000 – $1,000,000

Based on the provided cost proposal form, the budget for this contract will depend on the principal amount of bonds issued and the fee per $1,000 of bonds. The fee structure is as follows: $X per $1,000 for the first $50 million, $Y per $1,000 for the next $50 million, $Z per $1,000 for the next $150 million, and $W per $1,000 for any remaining balance. Additionally, KDOT will reimburse the Bond Counsel for reasonable and necessary expenses, such as photocopying, express mail, and travel expenses. Given the complexity of the fee structure and the variable expenses, it's difficult to provide an exact budget range without more information on the proposed fees and expenses. However, assuming a moderate level of bond issuance and reasonable expenses, a rough estimate for the budget could be between $200,000 and $1,000,000 per year, depending on the scope of work and the contractor's fees.
