Refuse Collection at Kewalo Basin Harbor & Block P

The Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA) is seeking a contractor to provide refuse collection services for Kewalo Basin Harbor and Block P. The contractor will be responsible for collecting and disposing of refuse, maintaining containers, and performing other related tasks. The contract will be for a 36-month period, with the option to extend for two additional 12-month periods. The contractor must have at least three years of experience in refuse collection and must have a valid City and County of Honolulu Refuse Collection License. Key aspects of the job include: • Collecting and disposing of refuse from designated containers • Maintaining containers and replacing them as needed • Performing work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner • Coordinating with the HCDA point of contact and other vendors or contractors • Providing proof of insurance and compliance with federal, state, and county laws and regulations The HCDA will evaluate bids based on the lowest total sum bid price, and the contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder.
