Transportation Asset Collection

The City of Charlotte is seeking a vendor to develop a comprehensive, segmented inventory of all transportation‑related assets within the city, including roadways, traffic signs, pavement markings, sidewalks, ramps, and other vertical roadway elements. The scope includes a condition analysis for each asset and delivery of separate ESRI geodatabases per asset category, with table schemas to be defined before data collection. The effort will support work management, emergency response, and long‑term asset planning. • Create an inventory of city‑maintained roadways, traffic control signs, pavement markings, sidewalks, ramps, and vertical roadway elements. • Perform condition analysis and compile a database for use in hazard and work‑management scenarios. • Deliver separate ESRI geodatabases for each asset type, adhering to pre‑defined table schemas. • Maintain required insurance coverage (automobile, general liability, workers’ compensation). • Meet one‑year contract term with an anticipated total project value of $1 M‑$5 M.
