SH-6 Utility Relocations - Highpoint Drive Waterline & Old Reliance Waterline

The City of Bryan is seeking qualified contractors to relocate and install water utility lines along SH‑6 at two locations: the Highpoint Drive/Briarcrest Drive intersection and the Old Reliance Road overpass. The scope includes demolition of existing waterlines, installation of new 12‑inch and 24‑inch waterlines with associated casings, grout filling, traffic and erosion control, and full testing and documentation. The estimated construction budget is $700,000 and the work is expected to begin early January 2027 with a targeted completion in late March 2027 (approximately 60 working days). Bidders must submit a competitive sealed proposal, a 5 % bid bond, and provide required insurance and performance bonds.
