S--LANDSCAPE SERVICES AT NWS WFO IN DODGE CITY, KS

The National Weather Service is seeking a contractor to provide landscape services at the Weather Forecast Office in Dodge City, Kansas. The contractor will be responsible for mowing, trimming, pruning, and fertilizing the grounds, as well as removing debris and ensuring a well-maintained appearance. The contract will be for a base year with four option years, and the contractor will be paid on a monthly basis in arrears. The government reserves the right to waive lawn care or request additional services as needed. Some key requirements include: • Mowing all grassy areas weekly from April to September • Trimming around fences, buildings, and other stationary objects • Pruning and trimming trees and shrubbery in the spring and fall • Fertilizing the lawn and treating for weeds and insects • Removing debris and ensuring a well-maintained appearance The contractor must also follow all federal, state, and local regulations and ensure that all debris is cleaned up before leaving the property.
