B518 Power Plant Maintenance

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide operation and maintenance services for the electric generating plant electrical systems at Bldg 518 on Offutt AFB. The contractor will be responsible for operating, maintaining, installing, refueling, and repairing energized and de-energized facility and power distribution components. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with options to extend. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must comply with the Service Contract Labor Standards and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements. • The contractor must provide a plan for maintaining a shift schedule to allow for 24/7 manning. • The contractor must provide references for maintaining like equipment of the same age and total megawatt level facilities. • The contractor must provide work experience, certifications, training, and corporate history for operating switch gears, transfer switches, generators, and analog & digital types of power generation equipment and facilities. • The contractor must provide a standard operating procedure (SOP) for government-ordered generator backup power outside of monthly tests.
