Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking information from potential sources to provide temporary lodging (Hop-Tel) services in non-VA facilities to veterans receiving medical care at the G.V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS. The services will include providing rooms with standard supplies and services, a full American breakfast, internet access, and hotel premises security. The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable records management laws and regulations, and to provide a statement of capability, business size, socioeconomic status, and GSA contract information.
• The lodging facility must be within a 10-mile driving distance from the referring facility.
• The facility must have at least three (3) designated rooms that conform to ADA requirements for handicap accessible showers and handrails.
• The contractor must provide a full American breakfast daily to the VA referred occupants at no charge.
• The contractor must provide internet access wired or wireless at no cost to the Veteran.
• The contractor must have a contract staff person on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
