The California Department of State Hospitals (Metropolitan) is seeking a contractor to deliver in‑person Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training and certification for its staff, complying with Cal/OSHA standards. The contractor must provide qualified OSHA‑certified trainers, all instructional materials, and issue three‑year certifications, covering forklifts, pallet jacks, aerial and scissor lifts across multiple DSH sites. Training is to be delivered during regular business hours on an as‑needed and annual basis, with billing based on actual attendance. • Provide classroom and hands‑on PIT training for a variety of equipment types. • Issue OSHA‑compliant 3‑year certifications to each trainee who passes. • Supply qualified trainers (OSHA‑certified, ≥ 3 years experience) and all training materials, equipment, and documentation. • Conduct training at six DSH hospital locations in California, adhering to strict security, background‑check, TB‑screening, and insurance requirements. • Invoice monthly for actual attendees; no minimum attendance fee.
