Description
The Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI) has issued an RFI to collect information from vendors that can deliver evidence‑based attendance improvement services for schools designated under the Comprehensive School Improvement (CSI) program of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. The goal is to build a Vendor Resource List that Montana CSI schools may consult when selecting partners to strengthen attendance systems, reduce chronic absenteeism, and boost student engagement and achievement. Responses are sealed until the close date, after which OPI will evaluate participants against a set of pass/fail criteria covering expertise in attendance improvement, continuous school improvement, data‑driven decision making, coaching, family/community engagement, cultural responsiveness, and experience serving rural/frontier schools. No contract award is guaranteed; the RFI is solely for information gathering.
• Scope: Attendance improvement assessments, system design, professional learning, family/community engagement, implementation support, and sustainability planning.
• Commodity Codes: 1401‑1404 (Educational Materials, Services, Testing, Training).
• Submission Deadline: 22 Sep 2026, 2:00 PM MDT; responses must acknowledge standard RFI language and be entered through the eMACS portal.
• Outcome: Vendors meeting all criteria will be placed on a state‑approved resource list, positioning them for future school‑level contracts that are funded by individual districts.
