Campground Attendant

The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a Campground Attendant to perform various duties at Hood Park, including opening and closing park gates, collecting camping fees, operating the Recreation One Stop (R1S) system, and providing customer service. The contract requires two people to accomplish all duties and includes a five-day rotation. The contractor must reside at the work site during the contract period and provide their own self-contained recreation vehicle (RV). The contract period is from May 11, 2021, to September 7, 2021. Key responsibilities include: • Operating the R1S system to process camper registrations and reservations • Collecting camping fees and providing change • Cleaning the gatehouse and campground picnic tables • Performing campground patrols and providing customer service • Maintaining the campsite and ensuring it is clean and secure • Reporting maintenance problems and performing routine testing of chlorine levels in domestic water systems
