Description
The County of Sedgwick and the City of Wichita are seeking proposals to expand opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment capacity across five possible goal areas, including medical detox, medication‑assisted treatment (MAT), diversion pathways, jail‑based MAT, and post‑overdose response. Applicants may address one or more of these goals, must submit a completed response form, detailed two‑year budget, and supporting corporate documentation, and will be evaluated on understanding of need, qualifications, evidence‑based approach, performance measures, accessibility, and cost reasonableness. Funding totals $900,000 for the strategy, with up to $450,000 per award and a contract period ending December 31 2027 (with a possible one‑year renewal).
• Eligible providers may be nonprofit, governmental, for‑profit, or health‑care entities delivering evidence‑based OUD services.
• Projects must expand capacity (new slots, hours, sites, or low‑barrier models) and cannot supplant existing funded activities.
• Quarterly performance reporting is required; the award is a fixed‑price contract with standard insurance and indemnity clauses.
