The State of Alabama is seeking a multi‑year Master Agreement (MA) for annual calibration services of balances and scales across multiple forensic laboratory locations. The contractor must provide ISO 17025 calibration certificates, adhere to a fixed‑price schedule for the life of the contract, and schedule service visits in coordination with each lab. The scope includes calibration of dozens of balances, organ scales, infant scales, floor scales, and a body‑lift scale at five separate sites in Alabama. • 51 balances across six forensic labs (Auburn, Birmingham, Dothan, Huntsville, Mobile, Montgomery) with quantities ranging from 5 to 13 per site. • Additional calibration of 13 organ scales, 3 floor scales, 1 infant scale and 1 body‑lift scale across three medical labs (Huntsville, Mobile, Montgomery). • Must provide ISO 17025‑compliant calibration certificates; pricing must be fixed for the 5‑year term with annual renewals; no additional trip charges if the supplier is already on‑site; service must be scheduled by each lab prior to on‑site work.
