Washer and Dryer Recompete

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide washer and dryer services at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. The contractor will be responsible for providing, installing, and maintaining coin-free washers and dryers on a rental basis. The contract will require the contractor to provide new ENERGY STAR rated heavy-duty commercial type washers and dryers, and to maintain them in working condition. The contractor will also be responsible for repairing or replacing inoperative washers and dryers within two business days of notification. • The contractor must provide washers with a minimum of three wash cycles and three temperature settings. • The contractor must provide dryers with a minimum of three drying cycles for different types of fabrics. • The contractor must ensure that all washers and dryers are installed in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer's instructions. • The contractor must provide proper operating instructions and machine number decals on each washer and dryer. • The contractor must absorb all costs associated with repairs or replacements.
