FY26 NPTU High-Pressure Air Compressors (HPAC) Mx

The Nuclear Power Training Unit (NPTU) requires a comprehensive 8,000‑hour major overhaul of its high‑pressure air compressor (HPAC) system. The contractor must supply all labor, certified replacement parts, tooling, and test equipment to dismantle, inspect, replace worn components, and re‑certify the compressors while maintaining at least one unit in operation. Work must follow the Maintenance Requirement Card AHP‑R‑2 (Rev 3) and be completed within 30 calendar days after award. • Perform full teardown and rebuild of multi‑stage HPACs, including valve, piston‑ring, bearing, and coupling replacements. • Provide new, certified parts meeting or exceeding original specifications and conduct dimensional wear checks. • Conduct post‑maintenance operational testing witnessed and signed off by the Government Technical Representative.
