Notice for Bids Transportation Natural Gas

The City of Rapid City is seeking bids for the transportation of natural gas to the City/School Common Energy Plant, Stevens High School Boiler Plant, and Southwest Middle School. The contract will be for a period of one year, starting June 1, 2025, and ending June 1, 2026. The bidder must provide a unit price for the transportation of natural gas, which will be based on the Inside FERC Gas Market Report FOM CIG, Rockies Index (CIG) price plus/minus a monetary amount/MMBtu. The bidder must also provide a nomination and balancing service, which includes daily nomination and balancing of the quantity of natural gas to be delivered to the receipt points. The bidder must meet the specifications outlined in the document, including the quality and pressure requirements of the gas.
