Chemical & Contaminants Fluid & Waste Removal

Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive hazardous and non‑hazardous chemical waste management services for a three‑year term, covering identification, segregation, collection, transportation, treatment, recycling, and disposal of a wide range of contaminated fluids and chemicals in compliance with all applicable regulations. • Perform waste characterization, sampling, and inventory tracking for hazardous and non‑hazardous streams. • Collect waste using approved containers, label, package, and store per EPA/OSHA/DOT rules. • Transport waste with licensed hazardous‑waste carriers to permitted TSDFs. • Provide treatment, recycling, recovery, or disposal services, including oil, solvents, paints, acids, sludges, and contaminated absorbents. • Maintain spill response kits on‑site, conduct spill containment/cleanup, and submit incident reports. • Deliver detailed documentation: waste profiles, lab results, manifests, certificates of treatment/disposal, and final close‑out report. • Supply all labor, supervision, equipment, PPE, licenses, and permits required for safe operations. • Contract term: 3 years, with a requirement for ongoing regulatory compliance and safety program adherence.
