INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT SERVICES

The Nashua School District (NSD) is seeking a qualified firm to provide integrated pest management (IPM) services. The goal is to deliver effective pest control while reducing the volume and toxicity of pesticides used and minimizing human and environmental exposure to pesticides. The selected contractor will provide all necessary supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to accomplish surveillance, trapping, and pesticide application components of the IPM program. The contractor will also provide detailed, site-specific recommendations for procedural or physical modifications necessary to achieve pest prevention. Key aspects of the job include: • Conducting facility assessments and providing reports with recommendations for IPM measures and physical plant improvements • Implementing IPM measures, including briefings with the facilities team and providing manufacturer's "cut sheets" for proposed measures • Maintaining a pest control logbook for each facility served by the contract • Providing additional pest control services for issues beyond those listed in the initial scope • Meeting specific qualification requirements, including being licensed to apply pesticides in the State of New Hampshire and employing certified commercial supervisory applicators
