Proposals for supply of Brand new Low Roof Cargo van - Right Hand Driven

The U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka is seeking proposals for the supply of a brand new, right-hand driven, high roof cargo van. The van should have specific features such as a diesel engine, 3000cc, 2WD, automatic transmission, and safety features like dual front airbags and electronic stability control. The offeror should provide quotations for vehicles with readily available spare parts, technical expertise, and after-sales services in Sri Lanka. The warranty period should be 100,000 kms or three years, whichever occurs first. • The van should be white in color with 5 doors (rear barn + dual sliding) and have a capacity for 3 passengers with velvet seats. • The van should have comfort and convenience features like front and rear climate control A/C, power windows, and electrically adjustable mirrors. • The prices should be duty-free and VAT exempt, and payment will be made within 3-4 weeks upon delivery of the vehicle. • The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer.
