Essayons CPP Hub Repair

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract for Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP) Hub repair services for the Dredge Essayons. The scope of work includes welding, building up, and machining flange areas to original dimensions, providing and installing seals, gaskets, and fasteners, and restoring the hub to condition where all tolerances are within Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) limits. The contractor will also be required to shop test and place the hub in a suitable crate for long-term storage outdoors with oil head tank, and deliver it to the USACE district warehouse in Portland, Oregon. • The contract is for the repair of the Dredge Essayons' CPP Hub. • The scope of work includes welding, machining, and providing necessary materials for re-assembly. • The contractor must restore the hub to its original condition and ensure all tolerances are within OEM limits. • The contractor will be required to deliver the repaired hub to the USACE district warehouse in Portland, Oregon.
