Description
The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive building automation system (BAS) support for its Johnson Controls Metasys platform. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining a reliable, secure, and fully functional BAS environment that underpins patient care, research labs, academic facilities, and administrative operations across the campus. This scope includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, software updates, cybersecurity hardening, and on‑call support to ensure uninterrupted building services.
• Provide ongoing operational support for Metasys (HVAC, lighting, fire safety, etc.) across multiple university buildings.
• Perform preventive maintenance, firmware/software upgrades, and cybersecurity patches.
• Offer 24/7 on‑call response for emergency incidents and system troubleshooting.
• Deliver documentation, training, and performance reporting to university facilities staff.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare facility regulations and university sustainability goals.
