Description
The Department of Energy‑funded LBNF/DUNE project seeks a firm‑fixed‑price proposal to supply, deliver, and support two complete Residual Gas Analyzer (RGA) stations for monitoring ultra‑high‑vacuum conditions in the DUNE cryostat insulating volume. The scope includes the RGA units, associated turbo‑pump and oil‑free backing pump, metering valve, pressure gauges, control electronics, Ethernet interface, software installation, venting system, and all required cabling and documentation. The vendor must provide warranty information, owner’s manuals, and comply with Fermilab’s quality‑control and certification requirements (SARC, PUR‑466). Delivery is to Fermilab’s Ross or Dakota warehouses with FOB Fermilab; freight must be included. The award will be based on best‑value (lowest price of technically acceptable offers) with no discussions.
• Supply two RGA gas‑analysis stations (range 0‑200 amu) with UHV capability (<10⁻¹¹ mbar)
• Include turbo pump with splinter shield, oil‑free backing pump, Pirani/ion gauges, and interlocks
• Provide Agilent AMLV1635CF (or equivalent) metering valve and needle valve for gas flow control
• Deliver software for operation, data storage, and Ethernet remote communication
• Provide all power/control cables, venting hardware, and required documentation (manuals, warranties)
• Meet all technical specifications listed in the Procurement Specification (e.g., leak rate ≤10⁻¹⁰ Torr‑l/s, max flow 6 L/min)
• Complete and submit required forms (RFP page, SARC, PUR‑466) by 5 pm CDT, September 21 2026
