2026 WPCP Chemical Supply

The City of Chico is seeking bids for the supply of Sodium Hypochlorite and Sodium Bisulfite for the Water Pollution Control Plant. The estimated quantity of Sodium Hypochlorite required is 325,000 gallons, and the estimated quantity of Sodium Bisulfite required is 135,000 gallons. The purchase period covered by this proposal is July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. * The bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on its outside with the project title and bid opening date. * The bid must be submitted to the City of Chico Water Pollution Control Plant. * The City of Chico does not guarantee any quantity of Sodium Hypochlorite to be purchased but will buy all Sodium Hypochlorite required for the period July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027 from the winning Bidder. * Deliveries should take place during the operational hours of the Water Pollution Control Plant from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding City holidays.
