Moving Services, Dental Equipment

The Baltimore County, Maryland, Purchasing Division is seeking bids for moving services for dental equipment. The successful bidder will be responsible for moving portable dental equipment from storage areas to approximately 42 schools located throughout Baltimore County, Maryland. The equipment includes patient chairs, portable dental units, dental lights, operator chairs, and portable HEPA air scrubbers. The contractor must have the capability to load and unload the equipment from the truck onto the parking lot, as there are no loading docks. The contractor will not be responsible for setting up the equipment or unloading the storage containers once at the site. • The contractor must provide verification of insurance coverage, including general liability insurance, automobile liability insurance, and workers' compensation insurance. • The contractor must comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and execute a Business Associate Agreement as required by the County. • The contractor must provide a hourly rate that includes all labor, fuel costs, personnel, administrative, and other costs associated with performing the services. • The contractor must coordinate the moving of all equipment with the Department of Health and Human Services, Dental Sealant Program.
