Description
The State of Alabama is seeking a qualified contractor to replace a condenser water pump at the Colonel Robert L. Howard State Veterans Home cooling tower system. The scope includes removing the existing Armstrong pump, installing a new Taco vertical inline pump and motor, reconnecting piping, and conducting startup and checkout. All work must be performed during normal business hours, with a four‑week lead time for pump delivery and all travel costs included.
• Remove existing Armstrong condenser water pump.
• Supply and install a new Taco vertical inline pump and motor.
• Re‑connect piping, start‑up, and verify operation.
• Complete work within regular business hours (M‑F, 8‑4 pm).
• No additional repairs or service to tower systems are covered.
