The City of Salem is seeking proposals from authorized Ford dealerships/repair centers to establish a primary contractual relationship for specialized maintenance, complex repairs, and manufacturer-mandated warranty work for their Ford vehicle fleet. The selected proposer will be required to provide OEM-certified technicians, direct warranty access, advanced diagnostics, and inventory efficiency. The City will evaluate proposals based on organization structure, qualifications of staff, services offered, fee proposal, and references. • The City has a fleet of 339 vehicles that require specialized maintenance and repair services. • The selected proposer will be required to provide a dedicated partner with expertise in Ford-specific diagnostic and repair protocols. • The City is seeking a primary provider and an alternate provider for these services. • The contract is expected to be awarded in May 2026, with a notice to proceed in June 2026.
