Furnishing and Delivery of Two (2) 4x4 One-Ton Pickup Truck with Rear Liftgate, Tow Hitch, Aluminum Flatbed, Tool Box and Utility Rack

The County of Maui is seeking bids for the furnishing and delivery of two (2) 4x4 one-ton pickup trucks with rear liftgate, tow hitch, aluminum flatbed, tool box, and utility rack. The trucks will be used by the Department of Parks and Recreation, Maintenance Division - Construction Maintenance Section. The bid includes the following specifications: • New and undemonstrated of current model year • 1-Ton 4x4, Regular Cab • 8-foot aluminum flatbed • Minimum 142 inches wheelbase • 10,000 lbs. GVWR • Gasoline V8 Engine minimum 400 HP • 4x4 Drive System • Heavy duty minimum 6-speed automatic transmission • Standard suspension with traction control and stability control • Power assisted 4-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock brake system • Electric power steering, rack & pinion • 12 volts with heavy duty 410 amp minimum alternator • Dual HD batteries • Minimum 30-gallon capacity fuel tank • 18” steel wheels with all-season tires • Factory installed A/C with R134A refrigerant and air filtration system • Heavy duty radiator • 2 ½ lb. ABS dry chemical fire extinguisher • Must meet all Federal, State, and County Highway Safety Requirements The bid also includes the following equipment: • Vinyl 40/20/40 split bench seat • Front splash guards/mud flaps • Tinted glass throughout • Day and night rearview mirror • Rubber floor mats • Jack with wheel lug wrench • Dome and reading lamps, including under hood lamp • Standard factory installed running boards • Reverse camera with monitor on dash • Power equipment package with power windows, power door locks, power exterior rear-view mirrors, and remote keyless entry The successful bidder shall provide a standard manufacturer's warranty and have an authorized service and repair facility for the vehicle located on the island of Maui.
