Connecticut Lakes Natural Area Scott Bog Spur Road Stream Crossing Replacement

The New Hampshire Fish & Game Department is seeking a qualified civil/structural engineering firm to develop a full design package for replacing a damaged stream‑crossing on Scott Bog Spur Road within the Connecticut Lakes Natural Area. The work includes a hydrologic and hydraulic study, wetland delineation, topographic surveying, and detailed engineered design of one of three crossing options (free‑span bridge, open‑bottom culvert, or standard culvert) meeting HS‑20 load requirements and 100‑year flood capacity. The contractor must also secure all required NHDES permits and coordinate monthly with NH FG throughout the design phase. • Hydrologic & hydraulic modeling for 100‑year flood events. • Evaluation of three crossing alternatives with cost estimates and environmental impact analysis. • Wetland delineation, survey, and complete design drawings (electronic & hardcopy) for construction in 2027. • Mandatory site visit on 5 May 2026; design delivery by 30 Nov 2026; permitting by 1 Apr 2027. • Project funded in part by FEMA; award contingent on Governor and Executive Council approval.
