RFI 27-002 - CAHPS Survey and Admin for CMS Quality Measures

The State of Alaska, Department of Health, is seeking information from qualified vendors to administer the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey. The survey aims to meet the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Quality Measure Set requirements. The vendor will be responsible for printing and mailing advanced letters, conducting the survey, and calculating CMS Quality Measures. The survey will be conducted using the standard questionnaire, and the vendor will have discretion in determining the calling window and contact attempts. • The vendor will use the standard CAHPS Home- and Community-Based Services Survey questionnaire. • The vendor will be responsible for printing and mailing advanced letters to participants. • The vendor will have discretion in determining the calling window and contact attempts. • The vendor will calculate CMS Quality Measures related to the CAHPS survey. • The exact set of deliverables expected has yet to be determined but will include raw data, measure calculations, CMS submission files, and a state summary report.
