RFSQ Madison and Oak Forest Signal

The City of Derby, Kansas, is soliciting statements of qualifications for engineering services to provide a design for the upgrade of the traffic signal at Madison Ave. and Oak Forest Ln. The selected respondent will be responsible for providing all required services, including labor, equipment, material, and consumables, necessary to complete the project. The scope of service includes attending initial and other meetings, reviewing aerial photography and topographic maps, performing cost analysis and traffic studies, and providing all topographic surveying necessary for design. Key aspects of the project include: • Upgrading the existing traffic signal at Madison Ave. and Oak Forest Ln. to current standards • Providing recommendations for minor geometric improvements and pedestrian access and safety • Following City of Derby specifications and standards for any recommended improvements • Submitting three print copies and an electronic copy of the response form along with associated documents • Maintaining strict confidentiality with respect to all aspects of the project
