(RFP) Skyline Park Concession Services

The City and County of Denver’s Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking a qualified concessionaire to operate a beverage‑focused kiosk (with limited pre‑packaged foods) at Skyline Park Block 2. The award will be a five‑year concession license, with the possibility of extensions tied to capital‑improvement commitments. The concessionaire must manage the kiosk, optional food‑truck spaces, limited retail merchandise, and create regular public‑programming events that activate downtown and enhance the park experience. All operations are year‑round, and the concessionaire is responsible for utilities, routine maintenance, and compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements. • Operate a 1,229 sq ft beverage kiosk, outdoor patio (≈1,990 sq ft), storage room, and two optional food‑truck hookups. • Provide beverage‑focused menu, limited pre‑packaged foods, and may obtain a liquor license (up to 50 % of gross revenue from take‑out alcohol). • Design and execute community‑oriented programming (e.g., trivia, live music, sports viewings) and manage food‑truck scheduling. • Assume full responsibility for utilities, daily cleaning, minor repairs (< $2,500), snow removal, and all licensing/permits; city supplies major equipment and furnishings.
