RNomics Technology Enhancement Centers

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking to establish collaborative RNomics Technology Enhancement Centers (RTECs) to further develop existing technologies for studying the full set of RNA molecules in cells and tissues. The goal of this initiative is to deliver measurable improvements and support broad community use. Priority areas include end-to-end RNA sequencing and quantitative modification mapping, comprehensive analysis of RNA sequence, structure, modification, interactions, localization, dynamics, and function, and molecular and biochemical tools for RNA manipulation, processing, and functional testing. • The program will support technologies and resources that enable integrated analysis of RNA sequences, modifications, structures, locations, interactions, and functions to advance understanding of health and disease. • Applications are not being solicited at this time, but this notice is being provided to give potential applicants time to develop meaningful collaborations and strong projects. • The estimated funding for this opportunity is $12,000,000, with an award ceiling of $2,000,000. • The opportunity is open to a variety of eligible applicants, including county governments, for-profit organizations, native American tribal governments, and non-profits.
