Notice of Intent to Sole Source – Air Mobility Command Surgeon General (AMC SG) SOAR Public Health Emergency Exercise and Training

The Air Mobility Command Surgeon General (AMC SG) has a requirement for SOAR Public Health Emergency Exercise and Training. The two-day training and exercise event aims to assess Air Force medical Groups (MDG) and train MDG personnel on HMS program capabilities, focusing on responding to biological attacks or naturally occurring outbreaks resulting in public health emergencies. The training and exercise events will utilize the Air Force's Response Training and Assessment Program (RTAP) material and reinforce the use of RTAP tools with disaster team chiefs. The required training will take place from 29 July 2026 – 17 August 2026. • The training event is designed to operationalize the use of RTAP material and reinforce the use of RTAP tools with disaster team chiefs. • The training and exercise events are based on public health emergency requirements and expected capabilities in the Department of Defense (DOD) and USAF guidelines, including Defense Health Agency (DHA) guidelines. • The training will assess Air Force medical Groups (MDG) and train MDG personnel on HMS program capabilities.
