Parks Tree Removal and Hauling Services RFP

The City of Salina Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a qualified contractor to remove and haul 25 trees across six city parks and a cemetery. The work includes complete tree removal, debris hauling, disposal, protective measures for adjacent public assets, and site cleanup; stump grinding is excluded unless specially approved. Contractors must provide their own heavy equipment (cranes, lifts, rigging) and demonstrate experience with high‑risk removals. • Remove and haul 25 designated trees (4 + 1 + 13 + 4 + 2 + 1) at six locations. • Provide all labor, supervision, equipment, traffic‑ and pedestrian‑control, and final site cleanup. • Supply a lump‑sum price per location and a unit price for each additional debris load. • Must hold appropriate licenses, insurance, and a clean safety record; no subcontracting without prior City approval.
