Amusement Rides for Various Events

Lancaster County, SC is seeking a qualified vendor to supply, transport, install, operate, staff, and maintain a variety of amusement rides for four county‑sponsored public events occurring between December 2026 and July 2027. The contractor must provide all equipment, power, fuel, permits, insurance, and on‑site supervision, and must not charge the public any fees. The contract is for an initial one‑year term with the possibility of up to five one‑year extensions. Proposals are due electronically by 3:00 PM EST on 17 September 2026. • Provide rides such as carousels, Ferris wheels, kiddie coasters, swing rides, etc. • Deliver, set up, operate, and dismantle rides for each event; supply generators, fuel, and qualified operators. • Maintain compliance with South Carolina Amusement Ride Safety Code and obtain all required permits. • No admission or ride fees may be collected from the public; County will compensate per contract pricing. • Evaluation based on experience, safety compliance, ride package quality, operational plan, and cost.
