Description
The Cherokee Nation Housing Authority is seeking a qualified contractor to fully rehabilitate a singleâfamily home (Unit 13513) in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. The scope encompasses complete interior and exterior renovation, including replacement of appliances, carpentry work, concrete repairs, drywall installation, electrical upgrades, new flooring, HVAC system replacement, painting, plumbing upgrades, sheetâmetal work, and gutter installation. All work must be performed within 45 working days from notice to proceed, and the home contains asbestosâcontaining material (popcorn ceiling) requiring safeâwork practices per the attached ACM report. Bidders must submit a Mandatory Bid Response sheet and Work WriteâUp, and TERO certification is required for tribal preference. The contract includes a $100 per day liquidatedâdamage clause for delayed start beyond two weeks after notification.
