SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR SIEMENS CORPORATION OR MYERS POWER PRODUCTS 38 kV CIRCUIT BREAKERS

The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific) is conducting a market survey to determine if other potential sources of supply can provide 38 kV Circuit Breakers compatible with the GPA 34.5kV Switchgear. The product must have equal performance and listing/approval requirements as the 38kV Circuit Breakers provided by Siemens Corporation or HD Hyundai Electric. The project requires eight 38 kV Circuit Breakers with specific characteristics, including conformity to Guam Power Authority (GPA) requirements and compatibility with existing switchgear. Key requirements include: • Breakers must be USG owned and turned over to GPA for operation and maintenance • Breakers must conform to all stated utility requirements • Breakers must carry uniform ratings to ensure interoperability • Breakers must be fully interchangeable with other breakers in the P678 Contractor provided switchgear lineup • Breakers must be compatible with 34.5 kV switchgear currently in service at MCBCB
