6505--Glipizide Tablets

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide Glipizide Tablets for the VA, Department of Defense, Bureau of Prisons, Indian Health Service, and Federal Health Care Center. The contract will be for one year with four pre-priced one-year option periods. The contractor must provide an uninterrupted source of supply for the contracted items, which will be distributed through the VA's and DoD's respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Programs. The estimated annual requirements are as follows: • Glipizide 5mg tablets: 60,691 bottles of 90 count, 58,708 bottles of 180 count, 50,084 bottles of 500 count, and 25,042 bottles of 1000 count • Glipizide 10mg tablets: 26,156 bottles of 90 count, 88,612 bottles of 180 count, 18,238 bottles of 360 count, 57,870 bottles of 500 count, and 28,935 bottles of 1000 count The contractor must provide unit of use packaging and meet specific labeling and packaging requirements.
