The Town of North Hempstead is seeking a qualified firm to provide appellate printing and consulting services. The ideal firm will have knowledge and expertise of the appellate process and rules in both New York State and Federal Courts and the ability to provide advice, guidance, and high-quality service with regard to the appellate process, procedure, and formatting matters. The selected firm will be responsible for providing services on an as-needed basis, with an anticipated 3-5 appeals per year. The scope of work includes preparing appellate documents, printing and scanning records and briefs, and electronically filing appellate documents. • The firm must have experience with the appellate process and rules in New York State and Federal Courts. • The firm must be able to provide advice, guidance, and high-quality service with regard to the appellate process, procedure, and formatting matters. • The firm must be able to prepare appellate documents, including printing and scanning records and briefs. • The firm must be able to electronically file appellate documents. • The firm must have experience working with municipalities. • The firm must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the industry.
