Fire Safety Training - 25

The Department of Developmental Services is seeking fire safety personnel to provide training to direct care staff and provider agency direct care staff in the areas of fire safety and fire prevention. The training will cover topics such as preventing and controlling fire-related emergencies in the absence of trained firefighters. The contractor will be required to travel to locations where trainings will take place and will not be compensated for travel, tolls, meals, or any other cost. The contractor must have a valid Firefighter’s Certification and must follow the guidelines set forth by the Department’s Learning and Staff Development Director. The contractor will be paid $400 per training, inclusive of travel, preparation time, and all other costs.
