The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, is conducting a market‑research Request for Information to identify vendors capable of supplying proprietary VEMCO‑brand acoustic telemetry equipment needed to support a 14‑year invasive carp monitoring program in the Chicago Area Waterways and Illinois Waterway. Interested firms must submit a capability statement that details company information, UEI/CAGE, business size, OEM or authorized‑distributor status for the specified VEMCO products, and prior experience with similar acoustic telemetry solutions. No proposals are being requested and the Government will not reimburse any costs incurred in responding. • Required equipment: NexTrak R1 acoustic receiver, VR2Tx‑69kHz coded acoustic receiver, and VR100 surface transponder. • Submission must be an electronic capability statement emailed with subject “RFI‑W912P627QA001” by 13 Oct 2026, 13:00 CT. • Respondents must demonstrate OEM or authorized‑distributor authorization and provide evidence of ability to source and deliver the exact VEMCO items.
