Natural Gas Leak Detection - Sources Sought

The United States Air Force is seeking sources for natural gas leak detection services at Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas. The contractor will be responsible for performing an annual natural gas leak detection survey, which includes detecting and classifying leaks, and providing reports to the government. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations, and must have experience in restoration services. The government is seeking small businesses, including 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-owned small business concerns, to participate in this market research. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and personnel to complete the leak detection survey. • The contractor must classify leaks into three categories: Class 1 (needs immediate repair), Class 2 (marginal, monitor location monthly), and Class 3 (repair or replace within six months). • The contractor must provide reports to the government, including an annotated base map of the gas piping infrastructure, within 30 calendar days of the survey. • The contractor must comply with all applicable environmental regulations and must have a plan in place for hazardous material handling and disposal.
