142WG Optimizing Human Weapon System (OHWS)

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide human performance optimization services to rated personnel assigned to the 142d Wing (142 WG) at PANG Base in Portland, OR. The contractor will be required to provide injury prevention and mitigation, rehabilitation exercise services, and human performance optimization services. The contractor must adhere to professional standards of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). The objectives of the contract include reducing the frequency and severity of injuries, improving long-term quality of life, and optimizing human performance and readiness. • The contractor must provide a full-time athletic trainer and a part-time licensed massage therapist. • The contractor must furnish consultation and reports similar to those found in a commercial facility. • The contractor must provide services specialized to meet the specific spinal health needs of fighter aircrew. • The contractor must adhere to the specified work hours and schedule, including adjustments for night flying weeks.
