Description
The City of Spokane’s Water & Hydroelectric Department is establishing an annual‑value blanket purchase agreement for brass and ball valves (and related fittings) needed for its water‑distribution system. Vendors will be pre‑qualified and quoted prices will be used to fulfill orders on an as‑needed basis over the contract term, with no guaranteed quantities. The agreement is a “blanket” that allows the City to issue multiple purchase orders throughout the year, ensuring a consistent supply of critical valve components.
• Scope includes brass elbows, corporation stops, curb stops, tees, reducers, couplings, and FNPT ball valves in a wide range of sizes.
• Three vendors have submitted quotes; total pre‑tax spend is roughly $236‑$283 k per vendor, with a consolidated contract value of about $258 k including 9 % sales tax.
• Contract term is five years (annual‑value blanket), renewable up to five years under the terms, with firm pricing unless mutually agreed otherwise.
• No pre‑bid meeting or site visit is required; questions must be submitted via the ProcureWare “Clarifications” tab by 12/20/2024.
• Delivery locations will be the City’s primary water‑service address in Spokane, WA.
