Spare power supplies for X59 instrumentation system

NASA’s National Space Science Center (NSSC) is issuing a sole‑source solicitation for eight spare power supplies (part number 21000700‑001, model MPSM‑2002‑1) required for the X‑59 instrumentation system. The supplies must meet specific electrical specifications (230 W, +/-15 V, +5 V, +12 V) and incorporate a modified capacitor part (M39006/25‑0244H). Delivery is required at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, CA no later than 11 March 2027. The contract will be awarded to Curtiss‑Wright DS, Inc., but NASA is collecting capabilities and qualifications from other vendors to determine if a competitive procurement is possible. No oral responses are accepted; all submissions must be in writing by 4 p.m. CST on 25 August 2026.
