Medium Voltage Cable - West Energy Plant

Clemson University is seeking a supplier to provide medium voltage cable and related materials for the West Energy Plant. The scope of work includes providing 3000 feet of 350 kcmil MV-105 15kV shielded copper cable, as well as other materials such as deadbreak elbow bodies, insulating plugs, and fault indicators. The successful bidder will be required to provide satisfactory evidence of insurance coverage and licenses prior to performance. The project requires compliance with various industry standards, including ASTM, AEIC, ICEA, and UL. • The cable must be suitable for use in wet and dry locations, underground duct systems, and aerial installations. • The cable must be rated 105 deg. C for normal operation, 140 deg. C for emergency overload operation, and 250 deg. C for short-circuit condition. • The cable must comply with the National Electrical Code and other applicable standards. • The supplier must be an active supplier in Clemson University's buyWays system.
