The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide moving services for the relocation of office furniture, equipment, and other related items across various departmental offices within Mississippi. The selected vendor will be responsible for ensuring that all items are moved safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable safety standards. The scope of work includes conducting an initial walkthrough, providing a detailed inventory list, packing and labeling items, and transporting them in a secure manner. The vendor must have a minimum of five years of experience in the moving industry and provide proof of insurance and compliance with safety standards. • The vendor must have a minimum of five years of experience in the moving industry. • The vendor must provide proof of insurance, including general liability and worker's compensation coverage. • The vendor must utilize equipment that complies with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards for safety and performance. • The vendor must provide a detailed inventory list of all items to be moved, which shall be signed by a representative of the MSDH prior to the commencement of moving activities. • The vendor must ensure that no damage occurs to property during the move, and all items must be transported in a secure manner.
