Budget estimate

$5,000,000 – $20,000,000

The dollar amount range that the City of Omaha might expect to pay for these services is difficult to estimate without more specific information about the costs and fees associated with the administration of the medical and prescription drug plan. However, based on the scope of work and the requirements outlined in the RFP, it is likely that the annual cost will be in the range of $5 million to $20 million. The factors that may influence the likely payment range include the number of City employees and retirees covered under the plan, the level of network access and provider discounts, the effectiveness of the clinical/claims management programs, and the quality of customer service provided by the vendor.
