DFPS seek Personal Assistance Care (PAC) services.

The Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) is seeking contractors to provide Personal Assistance Care (PAC) services to Adult Protective Services (APS) clients. The services will enable clients to engage in daily activities and perform necessary functions for independent living. The contractor will be responsible for providing face-to-face, non-skilled, and non-technical services in the client's home. The contract term will begin on the date the contract is fully executed or on September 1, 2024, whichever is later, and will end on August 31, 2029. Key points to consider: • The contractor must be licensed by the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) as a Home and Community Support Services Agency (HCSSA) with the Personal Assistance Services Category. • The contractor must have a HHSC contract to provide Primary Home Care (PHC) services. • The contractor must comply with the DFPS Uniform Terms and Conditions and the contract special conditions. • The contractor will be paid at a unit rate of $30.00 per hour for face-to-face services provided in 15-minute increments of service delivery time. • The contractor must maintain records and documents in accordance with the DFPS Uniform Terms and Conditions.
